October 11, Ural State University of Economics signed an agreement on cooperation with the Union of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses of Sverdlovsk Oblast. it was signed by acting rector Vladimir Kuligin and president of the Union Anatoly Filippenkov.

The first round of the International Student Olympiad "Economics and Management" began at St. Petersburg University of Economics. Participants answered questions, performed tests and solved mini-cases in the areas of sections and according to results reached the second stage.
