October 28, 2017, Sverdlovsk Regional Foundation for Entrepreneurship Support and Sberbank held a business game «Make Your Business a Success.» the game was organized by the staff and students of the USUE Department of Public and Municipal Administration.

October 26, Yekaterinburg Administration hosted the final of the International contest of projects of students, postgraduates and young scientists in the field of urban development and improvement of the quality of the urban environment and quality of life of citizens.

October 26-27, a regional seminar "Days of Competition in Yekaterinburg" of the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service for the Sverdlovsk Region was held in Yekaterinburg. On October 27, Ural State University of Economics hosted the seminar.

October 27, USUE Rector Yakov Silin and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Roman Krasnov met with students to answer their questions and help solve problems.

The All-Russian educational action «All-Russian Economic Dictation» was held for the first time on October 12, 2017, at 637 sites in 80 regions of the Russian Federation, gathering more than 59 thousand participants. At USUE, 200 people checked their economic literacy. These are high school students of 9-11 grades, students of colleges and universities, and just residents of Yekaterinburg.
