As part of the events timed to the World Quality Day, today Ural State University of Economics hosted an expert examination and consumer evaluation of cheeses of Russian producers. The experts were employees of the USUE Common Laboratory Complex and consumer evaluation was done by students and staff of the University.

November 26, for the first time USUE held the Health Day for the social adaptation of persons with disabilities . The organizers were the student health club "We are Together", the department for sports, Office for Mass-participation Sports and Health Promotion, and the Office for Social Work of the University.

Professor of the Department of Public and Municipal Administration of Ural State University of Economics, Natalia Vlasova and the chair of the USUE Council of Young Scientists, Associate Professor at the Department of Public and Municipal Administration Olga Ergunova were awarded letters of thanks of the head of Yekaterinburg Administration A. Yakob for organizing the work of the sections at the All-Russian forum "Cities of Russia 2030: Crossroads of Opportunities". The forum was held on November 15-16, 2017 at the Yeltsin Center.

November 25, USUE hosted Russian judo tournament among blind (visually impaired) athletes. 20 participants from Yekaterinburg, Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Kurgan, and Ufa came to show their skills.

November 26, 2017, on the courts of the Ural tennis center, the tennis tournament in honor of the USUE 50th anniversary took place. The event was organized by the USUE Alumni Association and the Institute of Management and Information Technologies. For the first time, participants in the doubles were graduates, lecturers, and students of the University, for whom tennis is not only a source of the healthy lifestyle but also a place for professional communication that unites representatives of different generations.
