Within four days, students of 11 groups of the USUE Institute of Management and Information Technologies took part in a master class in business at the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Vladimir Brylin, Rector of the Institute of Regional Development under the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Alexander Kondrashov, System Management Coach and Consultant, conducted classes for future managers, marketers, and IT specialists. Special attention was paid to business planning.

Recently, Ural State University of Economics hosted the regional interuniversity student roundtable (business game) on economic problems of a commercial enterprise. The event was organized by the Department of Commerce, Logistics and Trade Economics. The teams from three universities participated in the business game: USUE, Ural State University of Railway Transport (USURT) and Ural State Mining University (USMU).

6 and 7 December, Ural State University of Economics hosts the qualifying round of the All-Russian Open Culinary Championship Chef a la Russe - 2018. Participants from Krasnoyarsk, Tyumen, Perm, Kamensk-Uralsky, Kachkanar, Nizhny Tagil, Sukhoi Log, Verkhnaya Pyshma, Serov, Belokurikha, Krasnouralsk, and Yekaterinburg came to prove themselves and show their talents.
