February 12, the senior students of the Institute of Trade, Food Technology and Service, and the Correspondence Faculty (KD-14, KD-15, L-15, ZKD-15, ZL-14, and ZL-15) together with lecturers of the Department of Commerce, Logistics and Trade Economics V. Tarasova, S. Potapova, Z. Fadeeva, and L. Trofimova attended a meeting with the specialists of Coca-Cola HBC Eurasia held at USUE.

Today, at Ural State University of Economics, an additional educational program of professional training "Personnel Management at Metallurgical Enterprises" was launched for the heads of the personnel management departments of the TMK enterprises. The organizer of the program was the USUE Department of Labor Economics and HR Management.

February 19, the Rector of Ural State University of Economics Yakov Silin presented diplomas and certificates of honor to staff members who distinguished themselves in the XVII All-Russia Olympiad in National Economy Development, as well as the USUE badges of honor for long-term impeccable work and significant contribution to the development of the University.

A roundtable with international participation "Foreign experience of implementation of the third level of higher education" was held on February 14 at USUE. The key speaker was Dina Williams, professor at the Business School of the University of Leeds (UK), whose arrival became possible thanks to the support of the British Consulate in Yekaterinburg.

An interdepartmental meeting on security issues in educational organizations and improving the efficiency of juvenile delinquencies prevention was held at USUE. Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Tatiana Sinyugina assessed the activities in this area in the Ural Federal District.
