April 18, 2018, USUE opened the International Belt Wrestling Tournament among students "EURASIA CUP-2018 ".

Chairman of the Expert Council on Financial Literacy under the Bank of Russia Anatoly Gavrilenko gave a lecture “Financial literacy - the responsibility of the Youth of Asia, Russia, and Africa" to USUE students. The lecture was held as part of the Congress of Financiers at IX Eurasian Economic Youth Forum.

One of the experts at the Congress of Economists was Prof. Helmut Keim, a researcher of the Institute of Educational Sciences of the Free University of Berlin, a researcher of politics and education, a member of the Board of the Confederation of the German Employers' Association in Cologne. EEYF speakers and guests took part in the discussion of the lecture "Asia-Russia-Africa: the Economy of the Future From European Perspective".

EEYF meets its first guests: a meeting of high school students with USUE Rector Yakov Silin.

The chair of the USUE Council of Young Scientists Olga Ergunova and associate professor of the Department of Marketing and International Management Ivan Vozmilov took part in the III Urban Forum "Youth Yekaterinburg: Challenges of Time" held at the "Onegin" hotel.
