The interregional organization of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast, VEO of Russia and Ural Branch of VEO of Russia, as well as St. Petersburg State University and Ural State University of Economics issued a joint monograph "New Industrialization of Russia: Strategic Priorities of the Country and Possibilities of Urals".

The head of the selection point Stanislav Pivovarov told the students about the possibility of admission to the contract service instead of conscription service . Students learned about the places and conditions of service, earnings, benefits, and military mortgage.

Ural State University of Economics, within the project "Heroes Among Us", hosted a meeting with Chief of the Electronic Warfare Service at the headquarters of the Central Military District, Major-General Sergei Portnykh. At the meeting with students, Major-General Sergei Portnykh told about the goals and tasks of the Russian Armed Forces in Syria.

Ural State University of Economics hosted the international scientific and practical conference "Issues of Interaction between Public and Private Law in the Regulation of Economic Relations". The event was held by Ural State University of Economics with the support of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
