The scientific and practical conference devoted to this topic was held at USUE on April 27, 2018. Its organizers were the USUE Department of Physics and Chemistry and the RSVPU Department of Mathematical and Natural Science Disciplines. The conference topic attracted considerable interest: more than 50 young scientists from different regions and cities of our country (Tomsk, Tyumen, Samara, Voronezh, and others) submitted their applications and materials, as well as from the countries of the near abroad: Belarus and Kazakhstan (11 participants). Therefore, declared as All-Russia, the conference became international.

May 3, 2018 the conference hall of the DIVS (Palace of Team Sports) will host a press conference dedicated to the opening of the All-Russia Olympiad among foreign students of Russian universities.

The USUE staff together with the employees of large industrial, cultural and transport enterprises, educational institutions, and housing and communal services went to the festive procession dedicated to May 1.

April 23, 2018, the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a seminar "Foreign Economic Activity of SMEs: Experience and Problems", held with the support of the Yekaterinburg City Administration.

В УрГЭУ прошла деловая игра «Студенческий квест» – соревнование с элементами логической игры, культурное мероприятие с элементами спортивного состязания. В борьбе приняли участие семь команд УрГЭУ и ВШЭМ УрФУ.
