May 17, USUE hosted a roundtable "Summer. Recreation. Work", organized by the USUE Office of Interaction with Employers in cooperation with the Yekaterinburg Employment Center.

At the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, one of the leading educational institutions in the world training specialists in international relations and economics, there was a meeting of the USUE vice-rector for social work Roman Krasnov with the Academy vice-rector for research Oleg Ivanov and the head of the Center for Public Diplomacy and World Cultures and Religions Natalia Maslakova-Klauberg .

A meeting of the student health club "We Are Together" for people with disabilities was held at USUE.The meeting was attended by participants of regional and national stages of the Abilympics Championship - 2017, members of the volunteer group, representatives of departments and lecturers of the University.

The 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference "Recent Problems of Social and Vocational and Economic Integration of Youth into the Regional Social and Production Environment" was held at USUE.
