These days, the International Education Forum is taking place in the French capital. At the event, together with the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Yevgeny Kuyvashev, Ural is represented by the USUE rector Yakov Silin and the UrFU rector Victor Koksharov.

November 9, the press service of USUE met with the prizewinners of the World Russian Checkers Championship held in Nizhnevartovsk from October 26 to November 3. The organizer was the sports club "Triumph".

November 6, USUE hosted a meeting of students with a Hero of Russia, a Russian officer, major general, now the head of the Yekaterinburg Central Park of Culture Roman Shadrin . The event was held in the framework of the project "Heroes Are among Us."

November 6, USUE held the annual action “A Letter to Mom”, timed to the national Mother's Day. It was participated by USUE students and staff, high-school students, residents, and guests of Yekaterinburg. Postcards, envelopes, and stamps were provided by the organizers (the USUE Office for Youth Policy and volunteer brigade "Phoenix") free of charge.

About a thousand of senior high school students and their parents visited the Open Day at USUE: there were no empty seats in the spacious hall of the USUE Recreation Center.
