The food production facility of the Ural State Economic University became the winner of the regional review contest "The best catering for students of educational institutions of higher education in the Sverdlovsk region in the academic year 2018–2019."

The visit includes a number of meetings, aimed at strengthening cooperation and development of academic mobility between the leading University of Economics in Russia and one of the best leading Italian Universities.

The results of the contest for the awarding of scholarships of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region to full-time students have been summed up.

Ural State University of Economics is developing partnerships with universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan. As of 2019, Ural State University of Economics has 6 ongoing agreements with higher educational institutions of the republic. As part of the interaction of educational organizations, the USUE rector Yakov Silin paid a working visit to Tashkent.

The academic year 2019-2020 at the Ural State Economic University began on August 28, Freshman Week. Until September 30, mentors introduced freshmen to the structure and leaders of the university. The children learned about all student associations, about what a rich student life awaits them ahead.
