November 1, USUE faculty members took part in the meeting of the Organizing Committee on preparation and holding of the All-Russian forum of strategic development "Cities of Russia 2030: Crossroads of Opportunities", which was held in Administration of Yekaterinburg.
The All-Russian forum of strategic development is a platform for making-up agenda for the development of Russian cities and approaches to launching efficient multi-scale projects for their development, arriving at a common vision for urban development for all participants in the process: representatives of government, business, science, media and members of the public. Professor at the USUE Department of Public and Municipal Administration Natalia Vlasova will head the section "Formation of creative economy and creative spaces in the city: opportunities for public-state partnership".
The Chairperson of the USUE Council of Young Scientists Olga Ergunova will organize the work of the section "Youth view and participation in setting city's development strategy." Within the section, they will summarize results of the International contest of students’, postgraduates’ and young scientists’ projects in the field of urban development and improving the quality of urban environment and quality of life of citizens.
