Студентки УрГЭУ победила на Всероссийском конкурсе «Рассказываем Бажова»
From October 30, 2019, to February, the Institute for International Relations hosted a unique contest “Telling Bazhov”, in which participants were asked to write an essay in English containing an interpretation of the images created by P.P. Bazhov.
Of the four winners, three were students of USUE! They are a first-year student of the Faculty of Finance and Law Alexandra Rezayeva, who prepared the essay under the guidance of Ekaterina Salimgireeva, a senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages; Karina Galiullina, a first-year student of the Faculty of Finance and Law, who prepared an essay under the guidance of Elena Shemyakina, a senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages, and a second-year student of the Faculty of Finance and Law Anna Penzina.
The works of the winners will be used when arranging excursions in the Urals for foreign tourists. This was one of the goals of the contest: to tell foreign tourists interestingly and simply about the writer and the heroes of the Bazhov’s tales: the Mistress of the Copper Mountain, Danila the Master, Silver Hoof, and others.
